About The Role

Brooksource is seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst II for a contract-to-hire position in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities for operational and clinical improvement, monitor key performance metrics, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance health outcomes and member experience. You will play a critical role in supporting quality improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with healthcare quality standards and regulatory requirements, and presenting actionable insights to leadership and business partners.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and monitor key performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for operational and clinical improvement.
• Conduct research, reporting, and barrier analyses to support quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that improve quality and operational performance.
• Track the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and provide recommendations based on data-driven insights.
• Support project planning, execution, and continuous improvement efforts across multiple workstreams.
• Present findings, recommendations, and performance updates to leadership and business partners.
• Ensure alignment with healthcare quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, quality improvement, project management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
• Experience supporting complex projects and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting information to stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other data analysis and visualization tools preferred.
