About the role
EY’s Life Sciences Consulting Services team assists clients in finding the right balance between protecting the business and driving measurable value. This role will support large engagements, build solutions, lead teams, and innovate in the market.
Responsibilities
- Support client engagement teams and work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services in the life sciences domain.
- Lead key workstreams as part of large-scale client engagements and consistently deliver high quality deliverables.
- Helping Manager and Senior Managers manage risk and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment by playing an active role in counseling and mentoring staff consultants within the organization.
- Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
- Develop long-term client relationships and networks.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge in targeted disease areas including oncology, immunology, neurology and cell and gene therapies.
- Strong commercial strategy skills with exposure to commercial analytics and market access.
- Prior experience working in a strategy or boutique consulting company and managing a team of at least 3 reports.
- Experience in running primary research interviews and quantitative surveys in the life science industry.
- Experience with market access and knowledge of US market access dynamics including IRA, Medicare, Medicaid.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Biology, Pharmacology.
- 3+ years biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience and experience providing advisory services in these industries, focused in at least one of the following areas: Commercial analytics, Brand strategy, Pricing and market access, Commercial operations model transformation, Digital campaign management strategy, Familiarity with pharmaceutical datasets (e.g. pricing databases, prescription and claims databases, etc.), Experience with commercial operations and analytics, Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Skills
- A willingness to travel to meet client needs.
- Advisory/consulting experience within life sciences is preferred.
- Life science or biomedical background and experience in data analytics and commercial operations.

Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $93,600 to $154,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $112,400 to $175,600.
Schedule
Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
