About the role

EY’s Life Sciences Consulting Services team assists clients in finding the right balance between protecting the business and driving measurable value. This role will focus on leading large engagements, building solutions, leading teams, and innovating in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Support client engagement teams and work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services in the life sciences domain.
  • Lead key workstreams as part of large-scale client engagements and consistently deliver high quality deliverables.
  • Helping Manager and Senior Managers manage risk and help ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
  • Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment by playing an active role in counseling and mentoring staff consultants within the organization.
  • Developing relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
  • Developing long-term client relationships and networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Biology, Pharmacology.
  • 3+ years biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Experience providing advisory services in at least one of the following areas: Commercial analytics, Brand strategy, Pricing and market access, Commercial operations model transformation, Digital campaign management strategy, and familiarity with pharmaceutical datasets (e.g. pricing databases, prescription and claims databases, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A willingness to travel to meet client needs.

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge in targeted disease areas including oncology, immunology, neurology and cell and gene therapies.
  • Strong commercial strategy skills with exposure to commercial analytics and market access.
  • Prior experience working in a strategy or boutique consulting company and managing a team of at least 3 reports.
  • Experience in running primary research interviews and quantitative surveys in the life science industry.
  • Experience with market access and knowledge of US market access dynamics including IRA, Medicare, Medicaid.

Benefits

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $93,600 to $154,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $112,400 to $175,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Pay

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $93,600 to $154,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $112,400 to $175,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Schedule

Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
