About the role
The Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School (LLACS) seeks an innovative, student-centered Business, Computer and Information Technology (BCIT) Teacher. The ideal candidate is passionate about preparing students for success in college, careers, leadership, and life, guided by LLACS' Mind, Heart, and Hands philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Instruction & Curriculum Plan: Deliver engaging, standards-aligned Business, Computer, and Information Technology instruction for students in grades PK–12, as assigned.
- Design Lessons: Create rigorous, relevant, and connected to real-world applications lessons.
- Differentiate Instruction: Meet the academic, social, emotional, and cultural needs of diverse learners.
- Create Classroom Culture: Promote leadership, responsibility, collaboration, and academic excellence.
- Incorporate Technology: Integrate technology into daily instruction using best instructional practices.
- Assessment: Monitor and assess student learning using formative and summative assessments.
- Professional Development: Participate in faculty meetings, PLCs, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Business, Computer & Information Technology (PK–12)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Strong knowledge of business education, instructional technology, computer applications, and information systems
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively integrate technology into classroom instruction
