About the Role

This position provides domain expertise in risk management, local regulatory compliance, and accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Reporting to the CES & PAT Chief Compliance Officer, you will serve as the primary compliance partner for the Product Safety, Quality, and Engineering organizations and manage strategic compliance projects/programs owned by the Business & Regional Compliance team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the compliance program for assigned organizations and client groups, setting strategy and priorities in collaboration with the central compliance team and business leaders.
  • Partner with business leaders to sustain and grow a culture of integrity within respective division sites and groups.
  • Establish an operating rhythm to engage business leaders and functional stakeholders, such as Business Compliance Review Boards.
  • Lead the compliance network for assigned groups, including site compliance representatives and ombuds, to promote open reporting and a superior integrity culture.
  • Engage with joint ventures (JVs), assess their compliance risks, and drive mitigating actions as appropriate.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on compliance expertise and leadership development.
  • Design and implement compliance programs involving ~15 policy and risk areas, ensuring early warning of new local regulations and timely localization of relevant policies and procedures.
  • Partner with GE Aerospace Risk Focal to review requests and transactions associated with high-risk policy areas or major concerns.
  • Ensure effective training and communications for assigned groups’ compliance programs.
  • Lead compliance risk assessments and abatement actions across assigned groups’ sites and businesses.
  • Identify, propose, and execute improvements to GE Aerospace's existing compliance program, policies, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Guide the selection of site or organization compliance representatives and create opportunities for talent development aligned with organizational vision.
  • Lead and support integrity and compliance investigations during surges, serving as a subject matter expert for complex or high-risk cases.
  • Provide M&A compliance support, including due diligence, risk assessment, and post-close integration activities.
  • Manage key strategic projects and programs owned by the Business & Regional Compliance team, as determined by the CES & PAT Chief Compliance Officer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Compliance, Risk Management, or similar operational or program/project management roles, OR
  • Associate’s degree with a minimum of 12 years of professional experience in Compliance, Risk Management, or similar operational or program/project management roles, OR
  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 14 years of professional experience in Compliance, Risk Management, or similar operational or program/project management roles.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Compliance, Risk Management, or similar operational or program/project management roles.
