About the Role
CGI is seeking a dedicated Business Analyst with a passion for solving business problems to join our team in Knoxville, TN, in a hybrid environment. As a full-time consultant, you will solve important business and technical problems for local, enterprise clients, working alongside a team of like-minded professionals to make an impact with both internal and client partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise problem management initiatives focused on improving application reliability, operational resilience, and service stability across a complex AWS-based technology environment.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and identify recurring technology issues.
- Drive long-term corrective actions and implement strategic improvements to reduce repeat incidents.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and analyze production trends to deliver enterprise-wide solutions.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define governance processes and support strategic planning.
- Oversee complex technology programs and communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive leadership.
- Document complex business and technical requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in problem management, production support, or enterprise IT operations.
- Strong background in Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and long-term incident remediation.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional technology programs and enterprise initiatives.
- Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to consolidate, model, and interpret large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and reporting/dashboard development.
- Working knowledge of AWS services, particularly CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, and AWS governance tools.
- Experience managing incidents and workflows using ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with IT governance and operational frameworks such as ITIL and/or COBIT.
- Ability to identify technology trends and recommend proactive improvements that enhance system reliability.
- Strong production support and troubleshooting experience in enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to executive leadership.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple technology teams and business units.
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills while managing multiple initiatives.
- Experience using Jira, SharePoint, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- ITIL Foundation, PMP, or Agile certifications are preferred but not required.
- Financial services experience is preferred, particularly within highly regulated environments.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $46,400 to $110,100.
