Business Analyst, Tech & Ops

About the role

Axos Bank is seeking a Business Analyst with experience in analyzing business processes. The ideal candidate will have experience identifying areas for improvement, developing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity, collaborating with stakeholders, and leading projects from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for optimization
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable solution designs aligned with organizational goals
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports that visualize complex data and deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities, gather requirements, and lead projects from concept through implementation
• Design, develop, and implement reporting, analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related role
• Strong SQL skills for querying, data manipulation, and performance optimization
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, SSRS, or similar platforms
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, or automation solutions
• Exposure to or interest in AI and workflow automation tools (e.g., Copilot, n8n, etc.) preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Prioritized ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently
• Proven ability to analyze and solve problems with attention to detail
