About the role

You will report directly to the CFO and partner with leaders across the company to build the models, reporting, and business performance management systems that help the business see clearly and act quickly. We need someone analytical, practical, curious, and comfortable working through messy data, unclear problems, and decisions that matter.

Responsibilities

  • Build business case analyses, financial models, and analytical frameworks that support decisions across pricing, retention, expansion, margin, cash flow, and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain driver-based financial and operational models that connect budgets, targets, expected outcomes, decisions, and levers to P&L and cash - so the business can keep score and verify impact
  • Shape the analytical data foundation across finance, GTM, and the customer lifecycle - partnering with internal systems/data resources and cross-functional teams to structure, reconcile, and transform data from multiple systems into reliable inputs for models, reporting, insights, and decision support
  • Pivot cross-functionally to translate company priorities into measurable goals, roadmaps, and operating actions - working directly with finance and operations leaders to influence change and track progress
  • Build the business intelligence and reporting layer that gives leadership a clearer, faster view of performance outcomes - ARR growth, cash management, profitability, and unit economics
  • Build repeatable processes that turn inputs from different teams and systems into clear outputs leaders can use, with defined owners, handoffs, timelines, and follow-through
  • Use modern tools, automation, and AI where practical to reduce manual work, improve analysis, and surface efficiency opportunities

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and technical fluency, but the real bar is business judgment: knowing which questions matter, how to answer them rigorously, and how to turn the answer into action
  • Strong advanced Excel and financial modeling skills - complex, well-architected, driver-based models built from messy inputs
  • Strong data management skills - extracting, cleaning, mapping, transforming, and reconciling data across multiple systems into a reliable foundation for analysis, reporting, and decision support. You can work effectively in both spreadsheets and more advanced tools
  • Fluency in SaaS unit economics - LTV/CAC, ARR, NRR, GRR, cohort retention, payback, margin, cash flow - and how they drive decisions and sustainable growth
  • Strong business intelligence skills - able to use BI concepts and tools such as Power BI to build reporting that helps leaders understand performance and make better decisions
  • Practical experience using automation or AI-enabled workflows - reducing manual work, improving data quality, or accelerating analysis without compromising security or practicality
  • Comfort with ambiguity and messy data; you clean, structure, and integrate what you are given rather than waiting for it to be perfect

Qualifications

  • Nice to have - systems and tooling: Experience with SaaS enterprise systems such as HubSpot, Maxio, Xero, QuickBooks, ScaleXP, Stripe, NetSuite or similar finance, billing, CX, CRM, ERP and reporting platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Excel/Power Query, SQL, data warehouses, Business Intelligence or similar tools used to clean, structure and make accessible financial and operational data
