Job Summary

The Business Analyst, Revenue Performance is a high-impact role dedicated to interpreting and driving actionable business insights that accelerate decision-making across the Revenue Performance organization.

Position Responsibilities

  • Insight Generation: Proactively evaluate business performance to identify trends, anomalies, and revenue-maximizing opportunities.
  • Decision Support: Partner closely with Revenue Management and leadership to translate critical business questions into structured models that support faster tactical and strategic pivots.
  • Advanced Performance Evaluation: Analyze booking curves, Net PPD trends, and yield performance to provide predictive insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Process Efficiency: Collaborate with Revenue Intelligence and Systems teams to streamline workflows and automate insight delivery, ensuring the organization spends less time gathering information and more time acting on it.
  • Narrative Synthesis: Communicate complex findings to C-Suite, VP, and Director-level audiences, focusing on the 'so what' and 'what’s next' to drive commercial outcomes.
  • Ad Hoc Strategic Analysis: Lead rapid-response deep dives into specific voyages, deployments, or pricing strategies to solve immediate commercial challenges or capitalize on market shifts.
  • Validation & Integrity: Maintain a disciplined approach to quality, ensuring that all business insights and recommendations are built on a foundation of accurate and consistent metrics.

Qualifications

  • DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
  • FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field required.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, revenue management, or financial analysis where the primary focus was driving business outcomes through informed recommendations.
  • Industry Context: Experience with cruise or hospitality revenue management concepts (APCD, Net PPD, load factor) is strongly preferred.
  • Proven Impact: Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex business problems and deliver clean, actionable outputs that directly influenced executive decisions.

Competencies & Skills

  • Analytical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working within relational environments is required.
  • Strategic Visualization: Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) to create diagnostic and predictive visualizations that highlight business opportunities.
  • Commercial Mindset: Ability to understand the broader business context and translate technical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Agility: A self-starter who can manage multiple high-priority deliverables and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a consistent and auditable library of business logic.
