What you will do...
- Support & Cross-Functional Immersion

- Continuously surface progress updates, risks, and field feedback to the VP and project leadership to inform ongoing system and process improvements.
- Support the active rollout of Project Overhaul initiatives, including Weights and Dimensions.
- Act as the first line of support for field teams during logistics implementations — answering questions, triaging IT issues, and systematically tracking user feedback.
- Partner with the project team to develop and maintain SOPs for core logistics processes and adjacent operational areas such as Equipment Quality.
- Take on targeted assignments to support and progressively help manage parcel shipment programs across the network.
- Transition into subsequent Operational Excellence projects as logistics initiatives are implemented and sustained.
- Aid in standardizing and improving processes related to Ancillary charges, Damage identification and billing, and Equipment Quality standards.
- Identify process bottlenecks and collaborate with leadership to design more efficient, field-friendly workflows.
- Partner closely with Change Management and Training workstreams to ensure field teams are fully prepared for upcoming operational changes across all assigned projects.
- Convert temporary project rollouts into permanent, repeatable business processes with clear ownership and accountability.
- Develop, revise, and publish standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, and Herc Central intranet content to reflect current operational standards.
- Monitor adherence to newly implemented SOPs and proactively identify areas where additional training or reinforcement is needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a Herc Rentals branch, customer service, or operations support role.
- Familiarity with foundational project management or change management principles.
- 0–3 years in a business analyst, project coordinator, operations coordinator, or related administrative/analytical role.
- High comfort level with ambiguity and shifting priorities; eager to learn new areas of the business quickly.
