Business Analyst, PMO
About the role
As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our strategic and operational initiatives. You will develop data-driven reporting solutions, conduct performance analysis, automate reporting processes, and translate data into clear visual insights that support decision-making and operational improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics.
- Transform complex data into clear, intuitive visualizations that effectively communicate trends, performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Apply visual storytelling techniques to enable leadership to quickly understand key insights and make informed decisions.
- Analyze historical and current data to identify trends and insights.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports, data updates, and manual reporting processes.
- Develop automated reporting solutions and workflows using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and related tools.
- Improve reporting efficiency, accuracy, and speed through automation and process optimization.
- Analyze performance data by various segments such as cost elements, labor, and project types.
- Compare past performance with forecasts to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and reach key performance indicators.
- Continuously enhance reporting solutions based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 5 years related experience.
- 4+ years' experience with Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within construction, energy, utilities, engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical), consulting or related space.
- Experience with Metric Dashboarding.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL queries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting.

Pay
This position pays between $85,000 and $125,000 annually. The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors.
Schedule
This is a hybrid remote & on-site role in multiple locations including Oakland CA (or ability to travel to Oakland on a monthly basis), Seattle WA, Reno NV, and Las Vegas NV.
