About the role
We are seeking a full-time Business Analyst OM Support at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be instrumental in the execution of new features and driving onboarding solutions for all order management applications globally. The position is accountable for gathering, documenting, and communicating user requirements for projects of all sizes and complexity.
Responsibilities
- Serves as functional subject matter expert for application/technology solutions and related business processes
- Collaborates with global team members to understand and document business processes
- Documents requirements of each project
- Works closely with business teams, global region experts, and IT teams to understand, coordinate, and test new systems, new system functionality, and new processes
- Documents and coordinates documentation of test cases
- Organizes setup requirements with global region experts and maintains/completes some base Oracle setups
- Prepares training documentation and trains global team members on new systems or process functionality
- Understands discrepancies and gaps in process requirements
- Holds business team associates and region experts accountable for deliverables
- Contributes to technical research on new technologies
- Communicates technical-related product issues
- Drives continuous improvement to maximize quality and service while reducing costs
- Recommends infrastructure modifications as needed
- Ensures adherence to local laws, customs, and cultures
- Develops and maintains stakeholder business relationships
- Provides a monthly report to the line Manager on successes and areas needing improvements
- Professionally approaches situations in which conflict is present
- Domestic and international travel as needed (15% of the time or greater)
- Flexibility for short notice or extended travel plans
- Adjusts hours to support international time zones
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in a substantially similar role or in Garmin Dealer Support
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and ability to work well with others in a global setting
- Strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- Garmin experience across multiple departments or roles
- Experience with effectively managing internationally distributed teams
- Proficiency in additional languages
- Proficient in Jira
- Previous Oracle experience
- Garmin product knowledge
- Previous training experience
