Business Analyst, Junior

About the role

Leverage business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools, and applications for a business function or business unit. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts and limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work with data in a professional environment
• Use data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI
• Conduct business analysis or business intelligence tasks
• Show attention to detail and uncover stories and trends in data
• Collaborate effectively across different functional groups

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working with data in a professional environment
• Knowledge of business analysis or business intelligence tools or approaches
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL, R, SAS, or Python (nice to have)
• Experience with data structures and systems in a DoD environment (nice to have)
• Master's degree in an Analytical field (plus)

Skills

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $48,100.00 to $98,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Employees may work remotely, in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility, or in a hybrid model depending on the role and department.
