Location Details: Torrance, CAWork Type: Onsite - 4 days per weekLocal OnlyW2 Candidates RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness Systems Analysis & Requirements ManagementElicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, non-functional, data, and integration requirements. Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and use cases. Ensure requirements are clear, testable, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle. Data Analysis & Data SolutionsAnalyze enterprise data sources, data flows, and business processes to identify improvement opportunities. Define source-to-target mappings, business rules, data transformations, and data quality requirements. Collaborate with data engineers and architects to support analytics, reporting, and data platform initiatives. System Integration AnalysisGather and document system integration requirements. Define specifications, payload structures, field mappings, and integration workflows. Collaborate with development teams on event-driven architectures and system integrations. Support system-to-system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and production readiness activities. Solution Design & Delivery SupportPartner with solution architects and technical teams to evaluate solution options and recommend approaches. Review technical designs to ensure alignment with business requirements. Participate in backlog refinement and sprint prioritization activities. Identify risks, dependencies, assumptions, and impacts across systems and business processes. Testing, Validation & Production SupportDevelop test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and system-to-system test plans and test cases. Coordinate business testing activities and validate delivered functionality. Support root cause analysis and resolution of production issues involving data or integrations. Monitor post-implementation success and identify continuous improvement opportunities. WHAT WILL THIS PERSON BE WORKING ONThe Business Systems Analyst serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to analyze business needs, define requirements, and deliver scalable data and integration solutions. This role focuses on data transfers, data exchange between systems, and system-to-system interoperability in support of data privacy initiatives. The analyst will collaborate with business partners, architects, developers, data engineers, and vendors to translate business objectives into actionable requirements and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.WANTSMinimum 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst. Experience with data platforms and supporting entire project lifecycle implementations. Experience supporting enterprise software development and system implementation projects. Experience working with data-centric applications, digital platforms, and cloud-based solutions.
