About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our Global Consumer Finance data team. This full-time, exempt position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in data analysis and visualization to support strategic financial decision-making. As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting financial data through dashboards and reports that facilitate insights into revenue, expenses, profit margins, and forecasting metrics. Your role will involve working closely with finance, accounting, and leadership teams to develop actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and financial performance. You will also automate recurring reports, improve existing reporting processes, and ensure data accuracy and governance standards are maintained. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, financial analysis, data analytics, or a related field
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Engineering, or an equivalent analytics discipline
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and financial modeling
- Experience with databases and data querying using SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial dashboards and reports utilizing BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, profit margins, and forecasting metrics to identify trends and insights
- Write complex SQL queries to extract data from financial databases
- Collaborate with finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Automate recurring financial reports to streamline reporting processes
- Work closely with accounting, finance, and leadership teams to deliver actionable insights
- Create and own dashboards on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with data governance standards
