About the role
The Business Analyst III position focuses on providing analytical and project management support to corporate and business line strategic initiatives. This role plays a crucial part in the development of a new USCC Operations Controls & Risk Assessment function.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development and oversight of the USCC control inventory
- Addresses control gaps and contributes to risk assessment activities
- Shapes sustainable processes, documentation, and team practices as the function matures
- Works independently but receives assistance/coaching from more senior levels
- Identifies, develops, and maintains key linkages with business partners
- Provides insightful and proactive reporting and analysis for corporate and business line initiatives
- Collaborates with line of business team members and resources to resolve issues and problems
- Drives strategic initiatives and improves processes
- Adds financial value to the company by analyzing company data to identify and recommend initiatives that positively impact financial results
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent progressive work experience
- 3+ years of related experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Exceptional active listening skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
Qualifications
- Prior experience with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior experience with USCC operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, control writing, control testing, and risk assessments preferred
- Ability to stay organized, self-directed, professional, and adaptable
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and relationship management skills
- Detail-oriented and an effective communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders outside of the candidate’s direct reporting line, motivate team members in a fast-paced and demanding environment, and contribute meaningful input to overall team and divisional strategies
Skills
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- USCC operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, control writing, control testing, and risk assessments experience

$72,280 - $108,160 USD
