About the Role
Provides advanced level data and work assessment, reporting, and recommendations within assigned areas of expertise. Supports and enhances overall department workflow, customer service, improvement, and work quality through advanced analysis and project management.
Responsibilities
- Manages and supports various strategic initiatives and large projects to develop processes within the Billing Department.
- Prepares reports on data summaries, changes, and trends for management use.
- Provides assessment and recommendations to management.
- Resolves issues arising from internal department functions or brought forth by internal/external customers.
- Tracks issues to resolution within the department and in partnership with other groups.
- Monitors overall workflow to ensure timely completion of projects and daily work requirements.
- Assists with special projects within assigned department or as part of cross-functional teams.
- Monitors department processes and workflow to ensure accuracy and quality of data and work output.
- Determines areas of risk as new or changed processes are implemented.
- Recommends changes, updates, and processes for continuous improvement in areas of expertise.
- Evaluates current training methods and materials for assigned group and recommends improvements.
- Reviews and creates training as needed.
- Provides training and support to lesser experienced members of the department and internal/external customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) in Business Administration or a similar area of study, or High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
- 5 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles.
- Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, root causes, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated project management skills including planning, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.
Work Environment
- Normal office setting (Windsor, CT).
- Hybrid schedule (Monday–Thursday in office, Friday remote).
Pay
The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $84,700–$107,910. The specific salary offered may be influenced by the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
