About the role
The Business Analyst III at Pennymac will gather business requirements and provide reporting and analytical support for Senior analysts and the department manager. They will also identify changes to program requirements for government agencies and new potential investors, write queries for ad-hoc data requests, provide analytical support to Senior Analysts and Managers, organize and present data to management, monitor recurring reporting, and create new reporting views.
Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and provide reporting and analytical support for Senior analysts and the department manager
- Identify changes to program requirements for government agencies and new potential investors
- Write queries for ad-hoc data requests
- Provide analytical support to Senior Analysts and Managers
- Organize, prep, and present data to management
- Monitor recurring reporting and create new reporting views
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Moderate skills with SQL database
- Strong skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
