About the role
The Business Analyst II - Operations plays a key role in driving operational efficiency and supporting strategic initiatives through data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. This role partners with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and deliver solutions that enhance operational performance and support organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Partner with Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation
- Support implementation of process improvements, system enhancements, and operational initiatives
- Utilize data analysis to provide actionable insights and support decision-making
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track operational performance
- Assist in testing (UAT), implementation, and post-deployment support for system changes
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, or related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies preferred
- Knowledge of operational workflows and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
Pay
The expected salary range for this role is USD $61,500.00 - USD $85,000.00 per year.
