Business Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Tracks clinical quality outcomes
• Maintains performance measurement processes
• Analyzes and interprets data to identify areas for improvement
• Develops and maintains performance measurement processes
• Interacts frequently with leadership and quality personnel
• Supports system-wide quality improvement efforts
• Conducts financial and operational analyses
• Prepares effective presentations and communicates findings

Requirements

• Mastery of desktop applications, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively summarize data and present insights
• Initiative to work independently and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Attention to detail to ensure follow-through on all assigned projects
• Experience with data mining/extraction tools
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects
• Familiarity with data visualization and statistical analysis tools
• Familiarity with data management tools and techniques
• Knowledge of data extraction and analysis of current electronic medical records
• Knowledge and application of statistical analyses including financial variance and statistical significance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree [Required]
• Master's degree [Preferred]
• Field of study: Business, Healthcare, Engineering, Information Systems, or Mathematics discipline
• 1+ year in a healthcare organization [Preferred]
• 2+ years in a related analytic position [Preferred]
