Business Analyst I

This is the entry level position in business analysis. The associate will develop a high degree of understanding of their assigned program. Under close supervision, they will extract data concerning their program and provide analysis of this data to associates. They will work extensively with stores, vendors, and HQ staff.

PCS not authorized. Lump sum payment of $15,000 may be authorized. Work is onsite at HQ in Dallas, Texas; remote/telework is not authorized.

Responsibilities

• Assists in analyzing business conditions and in the development of business policies.
• Compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in analysis, evaluations, or other substantive determinations regarding current and/or projected marketing, purchasing, sales, and other operating programs, interpreting written materials, and organizing/coordinating work.
• Or a Bachelor’s degree with one year of the above experience.
• Specific experience or skills may be required by the hiring manager depending on the area where the position is assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred degree: Bachelor of Business Administration.
• Preferred majors/minors: Business Administration, Business Management, or Finance.

• BWS (including NewRec, WMF, LGTrack) (preferred).
• Internal reporting system (preferred).
