About the role
As an Operations Intelligence Analyst, you will analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency within our telecom network. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in network performance, customer experience, and business operations.
This role reports into the Director of Operations Intelligence and supports efforts in leveraging data and analytics to drive operational excellence and inform business decisions. The successful candidate will develop and implement advanced analytical strategies, oversee data collection and analysis, and provide actionable insights to optimize operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting models, scorecards, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and related tools to assist operations leadership in evaluating operational performance.
- Prepare and present presentations to team and company leadership on results using dashboards, PowerPoint, Power BI, and/or other visualization tools.
- Provide strategic assistance to the OI Director and/or the operations team by making recommendations in the areas of operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Work individually and collaboratively with other OI and BI team members to support operational decision-making and drive business growth.
- Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics preferred.
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to tasks such as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to acquire and maintain BI continuing education credentials according to the BI training curriculum.
- Knowledge of BI best practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Advanced Excel/data management skills strongly preferred.
