Business Analyst - Hybrid

Duties And Responsibilities

• Data Analysis and Development: Drive the day-to-day development of key analysis to support stakeholder objectives, ensuring that insights meet the business needs of Surgery Partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams (developers and data engineers) to translate complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
• Analyze structured and unstructured healthcare data to identify trends, opportunities and operational performance metrics.
• Data Modeling And Understanding: Build a deep understanding of underlying data models, inputs, and definitions to ensure accurate analysis and reporting.
• Work with stakeholders to refine data definitions and establish a consistent approach to data interpretation and usage.
• Product And Visualization Development: Build understanding of data visualizations, tools, and create reports that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence (BI) developers to produce interactive dashboards and other analytical products that align with business needs and are intuitive, accurate, and aligned with end-user requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between the BI team and business stakeholders, understanding their data needs and aligning expectations.
• Prioritize data requests based on organizational goals and resource availability.
• Train and support stakeholders in navigating BI reports and tools

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in a business analyst or data analyst role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• LICENSE(S)/CERTIFICATION(S): Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficient in Excel, Familiarity with Sigma, PowerBI, and / or data visualization tools, Basic understanding of data modeling, statistical analysis, and problem-solving techniques, Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, Ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to a variety of stakeholders, Intellectual curiosity, fast learner, attention to detail
