Job Summary

This Expert IT Specialist will support enterprise grantmaking activities statewide through both the Statewide Financial System and Agency-specific legacy systems. The consultants in this title support State agencies and the public with work such as configuring RFPs in an enterprise or agency-specific systems, as well as assisting with contracts, progress reports, payments, reporting, and prequalification, as well as testing and reporting system defects and fixes in those systems. They provide training and technical assistance on the systems to State Agency staff and vendors. When needed, they assist Grants Management leadership develop adjunct or different systems to assist other State agencies, like the OCM eGrants project.

Responsibilities

• Configure RFPs in enterprise or agency-specific systems
• Aid with contracts, progress reports, payments, reporting, and prequalification
• Test and report system defects and fixes
• Provide training and technical assistance on systems to State Agency staff and vendors
• Assist in developing adjunct or different systems for other State agencies, such as the OCM eGrants project

Requirements

• Experience with enterprise and agency-specific systems
• Technical skills in configuration, testing, and reporting
• Strong communication and training abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT support and system administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with web-based applications
• Knowledge of grant management systems and processes
