About the Role
Seeking a Senior Front Office Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience supporting FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities) trading businesses, specializing in derivatives, interest rate swaps, FX, and fixed income products. The role involves partnering with traders, sales, operations, and technology teams to analyze and document business requirements, translate them into well-defined Jira epics and user stories, and drive delivery within an Agile framework.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for FICC trading workflows.
- Translate requirements into Jira epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with traders, sales, operations, and technology teams to ensure solutions align with strategic trading and operational objectives.
- Support front-office trade capture, pricing, valuation, and risk workflows across trading platforms and post-trade ecosystems.
- Work with pricing and valuation platforms, trade lifecycle management, market data integration, and front-office booking systems.
- Drive delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment, coordinating with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA teams, and architects.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Business Analysis experience within Capital Markets, preferably in Front Office environments.
- Deep knowledge of FICC products, including interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, FX derivatives, fixed income securities, repos, and other OTC derivatives.
- Strong understanding of trade capture, pricing, valuation, risk, and trade lifecycle processes.
- Experience with front-office trading platforms, pricing engines, and valuation tools.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into Jira epics and user stories.
- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory, operational, and post-trade impacts across the FICC lifecycle is highly desirable.
