Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst - Data to support a major enterprise-wide data modernization and regulatory compliance project.
Required Skills
- Extensive hands-on SQL skills (candidates will be tested)
- Azure experience, including Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Power BI
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency in writing BRDs, FRDs, and User Stories within an Agile/Scrum environment
- Data analysis, profiling, and validation expertise
- Experience with data governance principles and frameworks
- Problem-solving, organization, and critical thinking skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Python or other scripting languages
- Experience supporting SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration
- Knowledge of financial instruments used by institutions
- Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or SAP
Other Requirements
- Onsite 1-2 days per week in New York
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule
- Experience working in enterprise data projects with a focus on data quality and modernization
- Capable of working under tight deadlines and managing multiple stakeholders
