Business Analyst - Data Analytics & Project Management
About the role
The Business Analyst (BA) will support less complex project management and continuous improvement engagements, executing related activities (including automation/RPA) through full process lifecycles. The BA manages multi-disciplinary teams within Aramark’s Project Management Office (PMO), working with all levels of the organization to juggle multiple priorities, participate in Kaizen events, and execute tasks as part of change management plans while reporting project statuses to key stakeholders.
In some cases, the BA will handle core project management activities, including defining project scope, creating project plans, identifying resources, coordinating meetings, analyzing data, and managing the critical path across projects. The role may also involve utilizing project delivery tools such as SmartSheet, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, Redmine, and other project tracking products daily.
Additionally, the BA may be responsible for financial reporting, partnering with teams within Aramark’s Global Business Services (GBS) to develop and deliver financial reporting, KPI tracking, and process evaluations. This includes validating data integrity and using tools like PowerBI, SSIS, MS SQL Server, and other data flow and presentation tools.
The BA will facilitate meetings (some virtual), drive deliverables against timelines, and apply Six Sigma, Lean, and project management methodologies. Strong relationship-building skills and comfort working across all organizational levels are essential.
