Business Analyst /Configuration Manager (Healthie EMR)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Configuration Manager with hands-on experience in the Healthie EMR platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clinical, business, and technical teams to understand requirements and configure the Healthie platform accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage the Healthie EMR platform.
• Set up intake forms, charting templates, e-signature forms, patient onboarding, scheduling, notifications, and billing settings.
• Configure user roles, permissions, and security access.
• Understand clinical and business workflows and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into system configurations and technical requirements.
• Write user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria using Agile tools such as Jira or Asana.
• Work with Product, Development, and QA teams to test and implement new features.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration logs, and requirement documents.
• Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate system changes.
• Ensure configurations follow HIPAA and healthcare data security requirements.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Configuration Manager.
• 2+ years of experience in digital health, telehealth, or clinical environments.
• 2+ years of hands-on Healthie EMR administration and configuration experience.
• Experience writing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with Jira, Asana, or similar Agile tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy.

Key Requirement: The candidate must have hands-on experience configuring and administering the Healthie EMR platform.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Healthie APIs and webhooks.
• Experience with multi-provider healthcare practices.
• Knowledge of healthcare billing, claims, or revenue cycle management.
• CBAP, CSM, or similar certifications.
