Business Analyst - Benefits and Payroll

Minimum starting pay: $63,273 - $78,447. Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs, and market demands. This range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.

Responsibilities

The Business Analyst - Benefits & Payroll will support the design, configuration, and administration of Shelter’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Workday. They will analyze and document current benefits and payroll processes and procedures and initiate any process improvement changes with management approval.

Requirements

• Completion of a four (4) year college degree or related field and/or equivalent professional work experience required.
• HRIS experience desired; Workday experience preferred.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical and organizational skills to work effectively in a detail-oriented environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Superior interpersonal skills to effectively function in lead roles and work well within a team environment.
• Ability to manage and work on multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, make independent decisions, and escalate appropriately to management.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
