Business Analyst

About the role

The Business Analyst will work closely with the Versana Product Team to understand customer needs, analyze market trends, and develop solutions that enhance product offerings. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform product development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and document user stories
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines
• Work with stakeholders to define and refine product specifications
• Support the implementation and testing of new products
• Provide regular progress updates and escalate issues as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Asana
• Understanding of data privacy and security best practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
