About the role
In this role within the IB Business Risk Management – Travel and Expense Team, you will:
- Manage day-to-day Travel and Expense operations, prioritizing requests and ensuring timely delivery of business objectives
- Review, process, and approve employee expense reports while ensuring compliance with company policies and controls
- Provide exceptional employee support by resolving inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and guiding expense report submissions
- Educate employees on Travel and Expense policies while communicating updates and policy changes effectively
- Partner with team members and control functions to review expense claims and support governance requirements
- Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately, on time, and aligned with team priorities and service standards
- Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation, AI, and technology to enhance efficiency and employee experience
- Support reporting and business insights by analyzing trends, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements
- 0-2+ years of experience in financial services, operations, administration, employee support, or a business management support role
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Interest in process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency
- Curiosity and willingness to explore AI and technology-driven solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with Concur, Power BI, Alteryx, or other automation tools is a plus
- Curiosity to explore how AI can improve workflows, with sound judgment in validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
