About the Role
CSL Behring is seeking an Associate Director, Business Analytics to provide strategic data and analytics leadership supporting U.S. brand teams. This role will transform complex healthcare, market, competitive, and commercial data into actionable insights that guide portfolio and brand strategy. The Associate Director will lead quantitative analytics, commercial modeling, KPI development, scenario analysis, and strategic decision support while serving as a subject matter expert in healthcare data.
The position will also mentor analytics professionals and partner with senior leadership, brand teams, market research, competitive intelligence teams, and external vendors.

Responsibilities
- Lead commercial data modeling, scenario analysis, and quantitative analytics initiatives.
- Develop actionable insights that identify business opportunities, risks, and market trends.
- Translate complex quantitative and qualitative information into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, metrics, and analytical tools that connect strategic objectives with business execution.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare and pharmaceutical data.
- Support enterprise analytics projects, analytical platforms, data acquisitions, and technology initiatives.
- Manage and support analytical vendor relationships and omnichannel analytics initiatives.
- Analyze market, competitive, patient, brand, and commercial dynamics using quantitative methodologies.
- Partner with U.S. Brand Teams to provide market, competitor, and brand insights.
- Collaborate with Market Research and Competitive Intelligence teams to understand patient dynamics and identify portfolio growth opportunities.
- Partner with external research vendors to identify demand-generation barriers and opportunities.
- Monitor and manage research and analytics project budgets and expenses.
- Present quantitative analysis and qualitative insights to senior leadership.
- Coach and mentor analysts and managers on analytics methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Promote data-driven decision-making across CSL Behring's commercial organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a strong quantitative focus, such as Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 8–10 years of professional experience focused on quantitative analytics and decision support.
- Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare data.
- Experience with pharmaceutical datasets such as IQVIA Claims, DDD, Symphony Non-Retail, and SP Claims.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business judgment skills.
- Ability to integrate quantitative and qualitative information from multiple sources.
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial analytics experience within rare diseases, oncology, novel therapies, or biotechnology.
- Experience in management consulting.
- Background in brand analytics, patient analytics, market access analytics, or equity research.
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical brand strategy and portfolio planning.
- Knowledge of competitive intelligence and primary and secondary market research.
- Experience with commercial data modeling and scenario planning.
- Experience managing external analytics and research vendors.
- Strong understanding of patient journeys, market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and demand-generation strategies.
- Experience developing executive-level KPI dashboards and analytical frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor analytics teams and influence senior stakeholders.
