Business Analyst
About the Role
Textron Aviation is seeking an Information Technology (Business Analyst) Intern for its 2027 summer internship program in Wichita, Kansas. This internship provides hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals on real business and technology projects while developing skills in business analysis, requirements management, process improvement, testing, and project support. Business Systems Analysts support core organizational functions and business processes by gathering, analyzing, validating, and documenting business requirements. Interns may gain exposure to areas including Business Intelligence, Customer Service, Digital Solutions, Engineering Systems & Product Development, Infrastructure, IT Resource Management, Project Management, and SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business data.
- Develop test scripts, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Support project management activities and provide project status updates.
- Collaborate with team members on business and IT projects.
- Participate in business process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with troubleshooting business and process-related issues.
- Provide internal functional interaction and support.
- Help gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or another related technical field.

Education & Experience
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Work Arrangement & Schedule
- Location: Wichita, Kansas.

- Summer internship duration: 10 weeks, typically from late May through early August.
- Expected schedule: 40 hours per week.
