Business Analyst

Location: Albany, NY (Mostly Remote)

You will join our team in partnership with New York State of Health (NYSoH) to provide comprehensive health coverage to more than 6.7 million New Yorkers through its Health Benefit Exchange (HBE).

Responsibilities

• Identify, review, interpret, analyze and clarify client user interface/user experience (UI/UX) requirements
• Generate UI/UX requirements documentation to satisfy client requirements
• Effectively communicate UI/UX requirements to cross-functional team members and management
• Monitor and effectively communicate project status and progress throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to research and documentation of impact of past projects on upcoming deliverables
• Ensure that all static content changes are thoroughly documented and identified for language translations where needed
• Add and modify multi-language static content through a cloud-based Content Management System (CMS)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related technical field or equivalent
• Three (3) years as Business Analyst in a Software Development environment
• Minimum of one (1) year as a User Experience Business Analyst
• Experience working within one or more software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) and understanding of all stages of project life cycle process
• Healthcare Domain Experience is a plus

  • Identify, characterize and clearly present problems exposing underlying issues
  • Quickly comprehend the objective and issues that the project is trying to address in order to formulate a proper solution

Pay

Target salary range: $72,000–85,000. This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience, and/or certifications in addition to other position-specific requirements which may impact salary.
