Business Analyst
About the role
RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC is seeking a Business Analyst to join a diverse team in their exciting and fast-paced organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily and routine support to internal customers through process analysis and ad hoc reporting
- Build and maintain new reports and dashboards to help drive business decisions using business intelligence tools
- Maintain working knowledge of existing business processes and reporting/technology needs used to support these processes
- Collaborate with business units to collect and document business, functional, and system requirements to enhance business processes and technical functionality
- Maintain a regular cadence of prioritization discussions with business leaders to ensure focus on the most important items
- Maintain a technology roadmap for assigned business units
- Facilitate and perform User Acceptance Testing
- Proactively identify areas of improvement in current processes and prioritize these needs to help drive increased efficiency and automation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- 3+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, working with and analyzing mortgage origination and/or servicing data
- 3+ years of prior work experience as a Business Analyst or similar job role is preferred
- 2+ years of experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSMS
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Proven track record of success in fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Visio
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Able to learn and apply new concepts quickly
- Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively to solve problems and meet planned deadlines
Preferred Experience
- Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Microstrategy
- Experience working with MSP/LPS/Black Knight servicing systems
