Business Analyst

Job Description

The Business Analyst at Regions serves as an intermediary between the team and the assigned line of business. They support more senior positions with advocacy for business clients throughout the solution development lifecycle, from initiation to post-implementation follow-up. Key responsibilities include:

• Advocacy for business clients in all phases of the solution development lifecycle.
• Basic to intermediate analysis to identify core business issues and map out possible solutions.
• Development of a business case for action, defining the need, method, and benefits of proposed solutions.
• Analysis to contribute to detailed requirements and meet business needs.
• Collaboration with the development team to refine solution design and outcomes.
• Monitoring progress to ensure the emerging solution meets requirements.
• Supporting more senior Business Analysts in resolving conflicts and ensuring compliance with risk management programs, rules, and regulations.
• Collaboration with the testing team to resolve issues before roll-out.
• Monitoring and reporting on user adoption during the implementation phase and recommending modifications as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with risk management programs, rules, and regulations; identifying opportunities for process improvements; applying disciplined change management practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or a related field, or
• High School Diploma or GED with four (4) years of related experience.

• Experience in business/system analysis.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Factors such as experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance impact pay. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

• Minimum Job Range: $55,024.75 USD
• Median: $68,230.00 USD
