About the Role
As a Business Analyst in Customer & Product Analytics, you will provide analytic expertise to support sales reporting and the administration of incentive compensation plans. You will gather, organize, validate, and analyze data to deliver actionable insights on sales performance and ensure accurate and timely incentive compensation payouts. This role serves as a liaison between back-office teams and sales, addressing questions, concerns, and requests. Strong communication skills and proficiency in data analysis tools are essential.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze customer and product data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand project scope and reporting requirements.
- Develop and distribute ad hoc and recurring reports to support management decisions and business partners.
- Build and maintain dashboards using data visualization tools for use by multiple teams.
- Support research efforts for multiple business lines.
- Maintain awareness and understanding of marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Support marketing initiatives at the planning, execution, and evaluation stages.
- Measure campaign results, analyze outcomes, and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Partner with fellow customer and product analysts to quantify the impact of marketing activities on sales.
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of the analytics data warehouse.
- Assist with source data preparation, monthly integrations, and monitoring.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex data issues as they arise.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience as an analyst or similar role, preferably in financial services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms (preferred).
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Pay
Base salary for this position in New York City generally ranges between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. This does not include incentive compensation, commission, or other benefits.
