Phoenix Staff is seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to support business and technology initiatives by bridging the gap between stakeholders and technical teams. This individual will play a key role in evaluating business processes, gathering requirements, and helping deliver Salesforce solutions that align with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document operational and system requirements related to Salesforce initiatives.
- Convert business objectives into detailed functional requirements and collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Act as a central point of communication between business users and IT teams to ensure project expectations, timelines, and deliverables remain aligned.
- Evaluate current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend enhancements leveraging Salesforce capabilities.
- Support system configuration, testing, and validation activities, including workflows, custom objects, automation, reporting, and related platform features.
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of Salesforce enhancements and project initiatives.
- Create and maintain process documentation, workflow diagrams, business requirements, and data mapping materials.
- Facilitate user training, knowledge transfer, and adoption activities related to system changes and enhancements.
- Stay informed on Salesforce platform updates, features, and industry best practices to provide ongoing recommendations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar analytical role.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience supporting Salesforce-based environments.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and document both business and technical requirements.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related functionality.
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams across business and technical functions.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks, including Scrum and/or SAFe.
- Experience utilizing project and work management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201), Salesforce Business Analyst, or comparable certification.
- Experience supporting data migration efforts, integrations, or Salesforce API-related projects.
- Knowledge of Salesforce reporting, analytics, and dashboard development.
