About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst Consultant to join our Health and Human Services Practice. This role will focus on optimizing the efficiency and reliability of Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) for our Public Sector clients.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead work streams with small teams in the Mediciad/MES Modernization space.
  • Manage own activities and those of team members to deliver desired business outcomes.
  • Focus on quality completion of deliverables.
  • Work directly with clients as a visible and engaged member of the team.
  • Establish positive relationships with clients and peers that build credibility, foster your support network and empower career development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, and/or Big 4 consulting experience in the MMIS/MES Modernization Space.
  • Strong BPMN experience with expertise in analyzing and documenting business processes, gathering and validating requirements, and creating detailed specifications to guide technical teams.
  • Experience performing data analysis.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder collaboration.
  • An ability to authentically establish credibility, build consensus, and activate collaboration with clients and teammates.
  • A demonstrated track record of successfully working on large, complex Medicaid Enterprise System consulting engagements, including roles that involved managing and interfacing with senior-level client executives.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with professional staff, senior level executives, and the community at large.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, including an excellent ability to uncover new opportunities for account growth and impact.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • A master’s degree and/or applicable professional certifications are bonuses.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This role requires significant travel to client sites, typically 40-60% of the time.
