Business Analyst
About the role

The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data—such as logins, usage, tools, and resources—to gain insights into the business, prioritize projects, and identify areas for improvement. This role focuses on automating data analysis, addressing analytics-related issues, collaborating on report and tool development, and sharing key insights through reports and feedback with other teams to drive business enhancement through data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Track statistics and metrics, including logins, usage (internal and external user adoption/analytics), tools, and resources.
- Understand the business to interpret data and feedback for creating action plans.
- Develop business cases to help prioritize projects.
- Focus on continuous improvement by analyzing data and identifying issues.
- Investigate and manage analytics issues with LTS.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to develop tools, reports, and dashboards.
- Generate ad hoc reports and provide data analysis as needed.
- Supply resources, analytics, and data while gathering requirements to support process improvement.
- Automate data analysis and/or gathering processes.
- Review survey results to determine necessary actions and changes.
- Create a feedback loop to share data with other teams.
- Proactively distribute reports and analysis to divisions and regions.
- Work with the team to provide analytics that highlight the value of enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, MIS, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
- 1-3 years of relevant business experience.
- 1 year of UiPath experience required.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Miro.
- Proficiency in writing functional specifications, user stories, and system documentation.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard, calculator and telephone equipment.
