Focus on business applications rather than clinical applicationsFully onsiteLocal candidates preferred; travel-based candidates acceptable (hotel, mileage, or flight expenses supported)Must pass background and drug screen Job Description Title: Business Analyst Business Applications (Interim) Overview: The client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support business application initiatives across the organization, distinct from clinical application support. This role covers systems such as INFOR and other enterprise business platforms rather than clinical/EHR applications. A key team member is retiring on 10/09/26, and the organization would like the interim resource to orient with him for one to two weeks prior to his departure, so an immediate start is essential. Local candidates are preferred, however the client is open to consultants who drive in weekly, stay in a hotel, or fly in to be onsite as needed. Responsibilities (Day-to-Day) Support and maintain business applications (such as INFOR and related enterprise systems), separate from clinical/EHR platformsGather, document, and validate business requirements for operational and IT impacts tied to business systemsFacilitate meetings with IT, business unit leaders, and project managementCoordinate with IT on system configuration, upgrades, integrations, and support needs for business applicationsDevelop documentation such as requirements, workflows, timelines, and project updatesSupport ongoing business application requests, enhancements, and issue resolutionShadow and transition knowledge from the outgoing employee during the one to two week orientation periodCommunicate frequently with [client leadership contact] on progress, risks, and issues Required Skills 3+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting business applications (non-clinical)Experience with enterprise business platforms such as INFOR, or similar ERP/finance/supply chain systemsStrong requirements gathering and workflow mapping expertiseAbility to work onsite daily and engage across multiple departmentsExcellent communication, organization, and facilitation abilities
