About The Role
Globant is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation of a third-party Brokerage Cash Analytics platform for a large wealth management client in Dallas. The BA will partner with business stakeholders, the Product Owner, technology teams, and the vendor implementation team to gather requirements, document data and process needs, support integration activities, and drive successful testing and business adoption.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to understand objectives, operational processes, and reporting needs related to brokerage cash analytics and financial data.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and data requirements to support successful implementation of the analytics platform.
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria to support Agile delivery.
- Collaborate with business users, technology teams, data engineers, and vendor teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional questions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze source systems and financial data to identify required data elements, business rules, transformations, and data quality requirements.
- Support development of source-to-target data mappings, reconciliation processes, and data validation activities.
- Document current-state and future-state business processes, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and data quality.
- Identify business impacts, implementation risks, assumptions, dependencies, and process changes associated with new capabilities.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, test scenarios, and detailed test cases to validate integrations, financial data, business processes, analytics, and reporting.
- Coordinate and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test execution, defect management, and validation of business outcomes.
- Partner with business users to validate dashboards, reports, and analytics outputs against expected financial results and business requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies, testing defects, and production issues, working with technical teams and the vendor to drive resolution.
- Support implementation readiness activities, including business process documentation, training materials, and end-user communications.
- Assist with post-production validation, issue resolution, and stabilization activities following implementation.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline business processes, improve data quality, and enhance user adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise technology implementations.
- Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and data requirements for complex technology initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear functional requirements.
- Experience supporting Agile delivery teams, including writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and participating in backlog refinement.
- Experience developing and executing test strategies, test cases, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Strong understanding of financial data, data quality, reconciliation, and validation processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable facilitating workshops and presenting to stakeholders.
- Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX as required by the project.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with brokerage, wealth management, cash management, or financial analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with third-party vendor implementations and integration activities.
- Experience with data mapping, reconciliation, and reporting in a financial services environment.
- Proficiency with requirements and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Visio/Lucidchart).
Pay
$90,000–$130,000 annually
