Business Analyst
You will work in teams and directly with our clients at one of our offices across the globe. This opportunity is also available in Ho Chi Minh City. In this position, you will assist clients in the social, public, and private sectors in finding solutions to some of their most pressing issues. You will collaborate with a variety of experts at the company, including software and app designers, researchers, and data scientists.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate in groups of typically three to five consultants to find and frequently put into practice potential solutions for a given customer challenge or problem.
- Assist clients in realizing their most significant goals and improving their performance over the long term.
- Compile and evaluate data, create and test hypotheses, and develop and present recommendations throughout each project.
- Work with the client team to execute recommendations after presenting results to client management.
- Travel to your client’s location as needed.

Over your first few years, you will work with a variety of coworkers and clients in multiple industries and functional areas. We encourage you to rotate for a year with one of our practices or global offices (such as corporate finance, the social sector, healthcare, operations, etc.); many do this after two years as generalist business analysts.
You will likely engage with various aspects of our firm’s activity, such as digital, implementation, tech, and analytics skills, either through teamwork or by collaborating with colleagues from these groups. Following your stint as a business analyst, you will transition into a post-graduate school career, assuming good performance. Some may take advantage of the opportunity to gain outside experience through a secondment (externship) with a client in the private or nonprofit sectors, while others may pursue graduate school with company support.
Qualifications
- Requirements may differ by country or profession; an undergraduate degree, master's degree, or at least one year of work experience following completion of your undergraduate degree.
- Ability to create a welcoming environment with staff at all levels of an organization and to collaborate with others.
- Capacity to lead a separate work stream within the context of a larger team project.
- Comfortable in confusing, dynamic situations.
- Ability to use quantitative approaches to examine and deconstruct situations.
- Capacity to successfully communicate in both the local office language and English, both orally and in writing.
