Responsibilities
- Project & Business Support
- Track transmission planning project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Flag risks and variances to project managers and leadership
- Aid in preparing proposals, scopes of work, and client deliverables
- Develop utilization, staffing, and capacity reports
- Create executive summaries and status reports
- Data & Reporting
- Analyze historical project and financial data
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning
- Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reporting
- Track project performance, revenue, and utilization metrics
- Identify and automate reporting processes
- Manage data organization and quality control
- Process & Systems
- Understand and optimize internal business processes
- Assist in process improvements
- Support AI adoption efforts
- General
- Communicate trends in project performance, staffing, and financials
- Manage multiple projects and reporting deadlines
- Collaborate cross-functionally
- Engage effectively across engineering, project management, and business functions
- Align transmission planning initiatives with broader company goals
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven analytical skills, including data gathering, analysis, and recommendation development
- Independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with or interest in the power/utility industry, transmission planning, or grid interconnection processes
