Business Analyst

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as an intermediary between the project team and the assigned line of business
• Advocate for business clients throughout the solution development lifecycle—initiation, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and post-implementation follow-up
• Perform complex analysis to identify core business issues and map potential solutions
• Develop business case: define problem, propose methods, and quantify benefits
• Elicit and document detailed solution requirements to satisfy business needs
• Collaborate with the development team to refine solution design, methodologies, and expected outcomes
• Monitor project progress to ensure deliverables align with requirements
• Resolve conflicts arising from technical deviations versus agreed requirements
• Potentially work across multiple business or technical domains
• Mentor and assist junior analysts as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum six (6) years of business/systems analysis or related experience
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or closely related graduate degree preferred
