Business Analyst

An electric utility client is looking for a Business Analyst I who will translates approved backlog items into clear, traceable, and testable requirements. Position: Business Analyst I Location: Rosemead, CA 91770 – Hybrid: Onsite M & Tu Pay Rate: $ 31.88 /hr. on W2 Duration: 3 months with possibility to extend to 12/31/2026. Schedule: M-F 7:30-4:15 RESPONSIBILITIES • Gather and compile data from databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems. • Maintain and update records, files, and tracking logs. • Execute Excel macros to process transactions (e.g., New Rentals, Rental Closeouts). • Perform system updates including status changes and maintenance plan deactivations. • Run macros for vehicle remarketing deactivation and sales item processing. • Review, update, and create Work Instructions and job aids. • Participate in meetings to support SAP data cleanup and data quality efforts. • Process Role Mapping and User Access Requests. • Prepare, review, and update reports (e.g., TSD Labor Report) using Excel and distribute via email. • Maintain toll account records, including adding/removing license plates and ensuring data accuracy. QUALIFICATIONS:Associates degreeProficiency in Microsoft Excel (including macros, formulas, and data analysis).Experience working with data, spreadsheets, and databases.Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.Ability to follow defined processes and execute repeatable tasks.Strong organizational and time management skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.Experience creating or updating work instructions or process documentation.Familiarity with data cleanup, reporting, or operational support functions.
