Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Salesforce expertise to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. In this role, you will lead requirements gathering, workflow design, and process optimization within the Salesforce ecosystem to drive key business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with business stakeholders and functional teams to translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specs, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform to evaluate and recommend functional solutions that align with business objectives without unnecessary customization.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives) and manage user stories in Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Act as the strategic bridge between business units, technical data teams, and Salesforce engineers to ensure end-to-end operational alignment.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develop test scripts, and work with end-users to ensure solution adoption and seamless deployment.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience as a Business Analyst supporting Salesforce implementations or enhancements.
• Active Salesforce Certified Administrator credential required.
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments working with user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint backlogs.
• Demonstrated success in process mapping, gap analysis, requirements elicitations, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
• Must be based in or willing to commute to the Phoenix, AZ area (Hybrid).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on data validation, data migration, or integrations involving Salesforce platforms.
• Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Business Analyst, Platform App Builder).
