About the role
A global mobile advertising technology company is hiring a Business Analyst / Ad Operations professional to support its growing US and Americas business. This role sits at the intersection of data, operations, and commercial teams, helping internal stakeholders understand performance, troubleshoot issues, and make better decisions using reliable data.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical and analytical resource for US and Americas business stakeholders
- Investigate data discrepancies, performance issues, and operational questions and determine the appropriate resolution or escalation path
- Use SQL and Python to analyze data, automate recurring tasks, and support business decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting, and regional operating processes
- Build and enhance dashboards, monitoring, and alerting used by commercial and operational teams
- Partner with the broader data organization to implement scalable improvements across the business
- Document findings and translate technical results into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a data, advertising operations, business operations, or related analytical role
- Strong SQL skills, including CTEs, joins, aggregations, and data investigation
- Hands-on Python experience for data manipulation, analysis, and automation
- Experience with BI or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, Streamlit, Superset, or similar
- Ability to diagnose technical and data-quality issues and communicate findings to both technical and business audiences
- Comfort demonstrating practical technical skills in a live working environment
Desired Qualifications
- Background in AdTech, mobile applications, digital advertising, or mobile app analytics
- Experience working cross-functionally with Account Management, business, operations, and technical teams
- Exposure to alerting and monitoring systems
- Experience with API integrations, Airflow, dbt, or similar data workflow tools
- Interest in improving operational processes through automation and better reporting
