ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an on-site Business Analyst 3 to lead business analysis and change management efforts, including gathering requirements, analyzing processes, developing change strategies, and supporting organizational transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and communicate with internal technical and business experts, including the assigned Project Manager (PM), to assist with and recommend project team requirements.
- Provide recommendations to management at all levels to build leadership/sponsorship capabilities and address change management (CM) initiatives.
- Develop, draft, and recommend new or revised change management processes, procedures, and workflows to meet customer/end-user requirements.
- Facilitate Transmission projects by assisting managers in developing and implementing approved change plans and materials (sponsorship, training, communication, resistance management, and change management).
- Assist management with the development and implementation of change plans and strategies through feedback loops or measurements.
- Support the implementation of new programs and initiatives, including drafting proposed roles, responsibilities, processes, and infrastructure for sustainment.
- Monitor the effectiveness of change plans and strategies, recommending improvements for maximum benefit.
- Alert stakeholders of risks that may impact project scope or schedule, provide mitigation recommendations, and implement approved actions.
- Collaborate with other CM Specialists to share best practices and coordinate on Transmission-wide initiatives.
- Use Prosci methodology and data sources to assess change saturation and make recommendations to project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Promote and support seamless organizational change across departmental boundaries.
- Maintain and improve change management toolkits (deliverables, templates, techniques) for different audiences.
- Validate change management strategies, plans, and tools align with Human Resources strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and recommend a comprehensive communication strategy and assist with implementation.
- Provide expertise to validate quality deliverables across various communication mediums and topics.
- Support business stakeholders in gathering and analyzing information to clarify business operations, document current/future states, identify solution alternatives, and define procedures.
- Provide process and organizational expertise for facilitating, planning, and executing approved business operations and change initiatives.
- Research, interview stakeholders, and gather requirements to present solution recommendations for management approval.
- Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level details, and incorporate findings into project and change management plans.
- Evaluate proposed and in-flight initiatives, assisting management in preparing business cases (financial planning, decision-making, risk assessment, strategic planning, internal controls, process management).
- Utilize software to integrate requirements into ongoing project management activities.
- Assist in developing holistic assessments of operational, cultural, and organizational capabilities, resources, and risk factors.
- Conduct risk analysis to identify possible outcomes based on financial programming, integration requirements, and project management controls.
- Coordinate planning and execution milestones, schedules, and tasks for successful initiative completion.
- Identify project deliverables and deadlines, including communication plans, change management plans, assessments, user guides, and support tools.
- Maintain and mark documents, files, and records in compliance with requirements, sharing only with authorized personnel.
- Recommend program evaluation criteria incorporating performance metrics, compliance requirements, and lessons learned.
- Recommend programmatic and process changes based on trends and stakeholder feedback.
- Provide organizational and process analysis, reengineering, program planning, and transition planning for business and strategic initiatives.
- Analyze organizational structure, functions, and processes to recommend resource allocation, personnel utilization, and efficiency improvements.
- Recommend methods for enhancing project, program, and procedural efficiency through process modification and technology application.
- Maintain regular, effective communication regarding project status and concerns with managers, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to convey technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
- Develop documentation to validate process repeatability, facilitate training on analytical tools, and support business continuity.
Requirements
- A degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, Computer Science, Organizational Development, or a closely related field is preferred.
- With an applicable Bachelor’s degree, 8 years of experience is required.
- With an applicable Associate’s degree, 10 years of experience is required.
- Without an applicable degree, 12 years of experience is required.
- Direct work experience and knowledge of analysis and change management principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience leading and providing Change Management programmatic setup and support.
- Experience with project and change management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
- Intermediate proficiency in Visio (flowcharts), MS Project, Access, and SharePoint.
- Technical interviewing skills, including functional/process interviewing and facilitating group sessions.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation.
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) designation.
- Experience with International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) methods.
- Experience with the Prosci methodology for Change Management.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required; work sponsorship is not available.
