About the role
This role sits within Allstate Dealer Services (ADS), on a growing and evolving Data Team that partners closely with business leaders to drive growth, improve profitability, and reduce losses. The team operates in a highly collaborative, global model - working closely with U.S.-based business partners, AORs, and a data team in India.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
- Gather, document, and clarify business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Lead initiatives in defining KPIs, metrics, and success measures for business initiatives.
- Support process improvement efforts by identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
- Create business requirement documents, user stories, process flows, and presentations.
- Extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to answer business questions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Monitor business and operational performance metrics and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to support decision-making and problem resolution.
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear, business-friendly manner.
- Work closely with business leaders, product owners, technology teams, and operations partners.
- Participate in project meetings, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Support implementation and adoption of data-driven solutions.
- Communicate project status, risks, and analytical findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, reporting, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience with Excel and reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
Preferred Experience
- With Python, R, or other analytical tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management concepts.
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
- Experience creating dashboards and executive reporting.
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of data modeling, databases, or cloud analytics platforms.

Pay
Compensation offered for this role is $70,100.00 - $121,475.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
